Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Right to Cancel (Physical Products)

If you purchase a physical product from By a Thread, you are entitled to cancel your order within 30 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period expires 30 days from the day you receive the goods, or from the day a third party (other than the carrier) takes possession of the goods on your behalf.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement via email.

2. Returns Conditions (Physical Products)

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must have been purchased within the last 30 days

• The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition

• The item should be returned in its original packaging where possible

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

• Personalised or made-to-order items

• Items customised specifically for the customer

• Digital products once downloaded or accessed

• Items returned in a used, damaged, or altered condition

4. Digital Products

Digital products (including downloadable files, letters, or documents) are non-refundable once the file has been delivered or accessed.

By purchasing a digital product, you acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel once delivery has begun.

5. Return Shipping (Physical Products)

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning physical goods to us.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refunds cannot be issued until we have received the returned item or proof of return delivery.

Return address details will be provided once a return request has been approved.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

• Refunds will be processed within 14–30 days

• Refunds will be issued using the original payment method

• No additional fees will be charged

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at checkout and shipped directly to the recipient, a gift credit may be issued once the returned item is received.

If the item was not marked as a gift, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
