By a Thread — Returns & Refunds Policy Last updated: 14/05/2026

1. About Our Products By a Thread sells digital products only. All products are delivered electronically — either as downloadable files or personal written responses sent by email.

We do not sell physical products. There are no shipping costs, no returns to post, and no physical items to send back.

2. Digital Downloads All digital products — including the Holding It Together journal — are non-refundable once the file has been delivered or accessed.

By completing your purchase or download, you acknowledge that delivery has begun and you waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you experience a technical issue accessing your download, contact us at buddy@byathread.uk and we will resolve it promptly.

3. The Read-Back Service The Read-Back is a personal written response service. Due to the bespoke nature of this service:

  • The Read-Back is non-refundable once your personal response has been delivered

  • If you have purchased but not yet submitted your journal, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting buddy@byathread.uk

  • We are unable to offer refunds on the basis of dissatisfaction with the content of a personal response, as all responses are written specifically based on what you share

If your response has not been delivered within 3 working days of submitting your journal, please contact us and we will investigate immediately.

4. Exceptions We will consider refunds or replacements in the following circumstances:

  • You were charged incorrectly or charged more than once

  • Your download file is corrupted or inaccessible and we are unable to resolve the issue

  • Your Read-Back response was not delivered within a reasonable timeframe through our error
